Taiwan's Next Media Animation 'covers' Lohan scandal

Author // Matt Gunn

Dying to catch up on the Lindsay Lohan scandal, but don't care to read about it, much less listen to native English speakers discuss it? Join the club.

In the latest in computer animated news videos from Taiwanese outfit Next Media Animation, we catch up on LiLo's exploits in the clink, how she got there in the first place (driving Herbie the Love Bug, of course) and the circumstances in which her 90 day sentence became 13. Sure, for most Americans the actual news will be lost in translation. But who needs words when there's a shower scene involved anyway?

Based on its website, NMA offers animated news to various organizations, and claims to be Asia's largest animation studio. Its YouTube channel seems to have fresh videos regularly, to the tune of some 14 million combined views. And every now and then one of the videos covers American pop culture, such as Lohan or even Sarah Palin's potential 2012 presidential run.
