God and Football

With JaMarcus Russell out of Oakland, the "bust watch" for NFL quarterbacks now turns to Denver, where the Broncos have drafted Focus-on-the-Family-friendly Tim Tebow in the first round. While Tebow jersey sales go off the charts, showing there's plenty of Tebow love to go around, there's a whole slew of people who just can't stand the Florida star and Heisman Trophy winner's guts. They're online, making taking their shots at TebowHaters.com. 

The site today features video of Kelly, a gal who gives no last name. She's at a bar and from Knoxville, Tenn. And she really knows her football. As for Tebow, she doesn't like him. He is "like a robot; like pull the stick out of your butt" -- an evangelical-friendly robot with a tight butt. She's disappointed that Tebow seems to blur the line between football and God. "You go to a Broncos game and it's going to be people praying," she said.

She added that Broncos coach Josh McDaniels' decision to draft Tebow made no sense. The team already has quarterback Kyle Orton and recently acquired Brady Quinn. As Kelly notes, "Three quarterbacks -- none of 'em are great."
