Motivating Bumblers

mcdaniels_mfgameIf you were wondering just how the turnover-happy Denver Broncos broke their four-game losing streak tonight against the New York Giants, you might want to consider what coach Josh McDaniels said to his players before the game.

Arms flailing, he stomped back and forth in his orange sweatshirt on the sideline of Denver's Invesco Field at Mile High and screamed at the top of his lungs: "All we're trying to do is win the mother f*cking ball game!"

The problem was that McDaniels' had a microphone on and so did the NFL Network, which beamed McDaniels' foul-mouthed motivational speech to a national audience enjoying their wholesome Thanksgiving turkey and stuffing.

The NFL Network quickly apologized for the gaffe, as did local the local Fox affiliate in Denver.
