Sarah Palin: The TWILF definition?
By D. Scriber  l Published: Monday, November 16 2009 12:02

TWILFs

twilfEnter into the world's mainstream lexicon a new word: "TWILF." That's the phrase that's being applied to Sarah Palin, who cannot, it seems get a shred of dignity -- or stay out of the gossipy channels of online news -- as she tries (by God, tries) to promote her new book, "Going Rogue."

It's partly the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate's fault. She rants that the press is biased on her Facebook page (as we also reported today) and she just loves sending out tweets via Twitter. And it's for the latter that Palin was labeled in a Current TV cartoon a "TWILF." If you know what a "MILF" is, you've got it. Do you need us to spell it out for you?

Okay, we'll spell it out. A TWILF is a "Twitter (user) I'd like to f*ck." Go ahead. Laugh. Be offended. We didn't come up with it.

The unflattering term emanates from "The Stupid Virus," a satire on Current TV. In the episode, a cartoon anchorman, Brian Williams of NBC, reports claims President Barack Obama was not born in America, spawning "fearus ignoramus," a virus that spreads an irrational fear that Obama is, in fact, an illegal alien.

"TWILF" Palin logs on to Twitter to help send the news. She tweets: "Barack Obama is the Anti-Christ."

And that's humor in America.

It probably won't help things that Current TV was co-founded by someone who actually was vice president--Al Gore, a Democrat!

We'll have to keep an eye out for Palin's tweets to see what she thinks.

Meanwhile, here's the video that's causing all the fuss:
