"We've heard 11 writers are engaged in this opposition research, er, 'fact checking' research!" she writes. "Imagine that – 11 AP reporters dedicating time and resources to tearing up the book, instead of using the time and resources to 'fact check' what's going on with Sheik Mohammed's trial, Pelosi's health care takeover costs, Hasan's associations, etc. Amazing." Not surprisingly, Palin, who regularly explains her problems in the press away by alleging liberal plots, isn't getting much sympathy from the press. The AP had reported that events in Palin's book were at best painted with rose-colored glasses. At worst, events often contradicted her record, the AP noting that Palin's book, "Going Rogue," possesses "all the characteristics of a pre-campaign manifesto, the requisite autobiography of the future candidate.” Palin's entire Facebook message follows: The book tour starts this week, and I look forward to it! I'm most looking forward to meeting many of you, shaking your hands, and telling you,"Thanks for loving America." I'll give you a scoop here and tell you what's on the book's Dedication Page – it's dedicated to you – Patriots – who love the U.S.A. as much as I do.

The Associated Press has long been known for its efforts to deliver accurate, balanced and informed stories. But to Sarah Palin, the AP is an organization of partisan hacks on a mission. The former vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor writes on her Facebook page that not only did AP somehow obtain a copy of her new book before it was released, but the news organization went rogue on her and "erroneously reported on the book's contents."
