The fracas over The Fray |
| By D. Scriber l Published: Thursday, September 17 2009 07:37 |
If you check out The Fray's Web site this morning, you can catch a decent live performance of "Enough For Now" or learn about the charity gig they did for MusiCares in New York City. What you won't find is any mention of the lawsuit the Denver band filed in federal court accusing manager Greg Latterman and his company of contract "fraud."
Band songwriters Joseph King and Isaac Slade, known for hits such as "How to Save a Life," claim in the suit the band was "deprived of valuable assets and income that should rightly be theirs." The band also alleges a breach of fiduciary duty and trust.
A spokesperson for Latterman told news agencies the band's allegations lack merit and that there are plans to fight the suit. Share |
