Haim died yesterday of a suspected drug overdose in Hollywood that is being investigated by the local coroner. Feldman, who appeared on "Larry King Live" to say he was "angry" that Hollywood seemed to turn its back on Haim as Haim struggled with addiction and financially, also said on his blog he also hoped the press would calm down, saying Haim's family and friends need time to grieve the "tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul who will always be my brother, family, and best friend." He added a wish for his pal, with whom he co-starred in 1980s films such as "License to Drive" and "Lost Boys." "I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived." -- Paintings by Corey Haim Share |
