"As always, I rely on Gail's love and support, and that of our two lovely daughters. So I want to thank Ayla and Arianna for their help as well," Brown said (video below). "And just in case anyone who's watching throughout the country they're both available. No, no. No. Only kidding, only kidding. Only kidding, only kidding. Arianna... Arianna's, definitely not available. But Ayla is. This is Arianna. This is Ayla. I can see I'm going to get in trouble when I get home." Seriously, Brown is expected to be a thorn in the Democratic Party's side, opposing President Barack Obama's hard-fought health care reform package. No more "back room deals!" And it seems Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., may once again have a good buddy in Washington, D.C. As for Cosmo (because we know you want to know more about that), Brown won (yes, he had to enter) “America’s Sexiest Man” contest back in 1982 as a 22-year-old patriotic law student at Boston College cramming for finals. He stripped down to nothing for a photographer. Cosmo re-ran the spread online, writing: "Compared to some men in the GOP, this politician looks pretty damn good for his age. We bet he still has an amazing body underneath his suit and tie." Who says the GOP is stodgy? Share |

Massachusetts' newest politico, Scott Brown, the Republican who shocked the nation last night by winning one of the U.S. Senate's most-Democratic seats, aims to make his state "proud" by being a "worthy successor" to the late Ted Kennedy. He's off to a rolling start, bringing not just politics, but some cringeworthy personality -- the kind occasionally seen in Kennedy -- to the job. In his acceptance speech last night, Brown, a.k.a. The Man Who Was Once Cosmopolitian's "Sexiest Man," singled out his daughters, who shot him that classic, "Daddy, no!" look.
