Michael de Yoanna, a co-publisher of dscriber.com, is a freelance reporter and filmmaker. He has done investigative and feature work for Salon, The New York Times online, The Washington Times, 5280 magazine in Denver and several other outlets. He has also brought his investigative reporting skills to several CBS News programs, KUNC radio, an NPR affiliate in Colorado, and Colorado Public News. Michael co-founded dscriber to explore digital media with wit and verve through varied sections of newsy and cosmic import. The site showcases the talents of a range of acclaimed writers, reporters, artists, filmmakers, and trendsetters, many of whom have worked for the world's top news organizations.
Michael, who holds many professional awards, including a national Edward R. Murrow for radio investigation in 2011, is also a public speaker and has appeared in many forums.
