Roughly two million people are without homes in Chile after yesterday's 8.8 magnitude earthquake with more than 700 believed dead, according to Chile's president. The toll is expected to rise. The La Tercera newspaper in Santiago, Chile, is live blogging coverage about the earthquake, including video clips and photos that show the damage of the powerful quake that comes roughly one month after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The quake did not trigger powerful tsunamis like an earthquake in Chile in 1960, but massive waves hit Hawaii in the aftermath, as video below shows. Massive evacuations were protected residents before the waves came.
